Works a treat
This paste is amazing! I suffer from occasional flare ups acne rosacea as well as having to wear a surgical face mask all day at work all day resulting in a not very happy chin. A thin layer of this at night before I go to bed helps to calm any redness or signs of impending breakouts.
I also give it to me teenage daughter to use and again after a few applications her spotty, greasy skin is looking a lot calmer and clearer.
A small amount is all that needed and allow to dry before you put your head on the pillow. Tube will last for ages!

A Comfort Blanket for Skin
I bought this and initially used it as a mask before realising that I could use it as a night cream. It's so thick and creamy my skin loves it. I wish I'd discovered this earlier it really helps my skin calm and soothe when it feels a bit stressed out. I use it a couple of times a week and I'm very happy with the results.

A boost for parched skin
I bought this after reading reviews,and I am really impressed with the amazing hydration ,with an application at night.I used this paste twice a week in the hot weather when my face felt dry and overnight it worked its magic,plump moist skin in the morning,I would recommend this to friends and family.

Wonderful product!
This is a wonderful product for my sensitive skin. I use it once a week or more often if my face needs it. You only need to apply a thin layer so it will last quite a while. It is easily absorbed into my skin & leaves it feeling soft & calm. A great product that I will always make sure I have.

I started using this amazing cica patse about three weeks ago. I found it very soothing on my ultra sensitive skin. After each night I use it the morning after my skin is soft with no dry patches or feeling taught. I use it 3 nights a week and it really has changed the condition of my skin. It’s balanced for the first time in years. I will always have a spare so I never fun out. Thank you very much for yet another superb product.

i bought this when i first saw it i thought it sounded as if it would be an interesting product to try and indeed it is i find it works very well for me and it does not upset my skin in any way which is good as i do have rosacea i use it twice a week and this seems to work well for me. i think it is a product that i will continue to use , i like the new packaging it comes in as well. .

Reveals smooth soft skin
I use mine at night, applying a thin layer to my face and neck. It feels very slightly tingly on first application for a minute but I don’t mind as I think of it as getting rid of dead skin cells. I leave on overnight and rinse off in the morning.

What a find!
I never seem to find the time to apply face masks during the day so something as simple as this that I can apply and leave overnight is perfect. And then to wake up to such a noticeable radiance to my skin is an added bonus. CICA leaves my skin so soft and hydrated and is now one of my favourite Liz Earle products.

I use this 3 or 4 nights a week at bedtime and my skin is blemish free. If I feel a blemish starting it seems to stop it in its tracks! The smoothness of my skin has been great since I started using it. Initially I thought it was a bit expensive however a little goes a long way and it lasts for months

I’ve used the instant boost skin tonic for a while now and had assumed that liz earle’s own website would be the cheapest but actually wanting to buy this item as a larger quantity I found it cheaper on qvc and this was with sale discount applied too - disappointed by this

What should this product smell like? I recently bought some items from Liz Earle and received a complimentary cica paste. I’ve used it twice now and it doesn’t seem to smell right. Should it be a pleasant smell, my tester doesn’t smell good.
My its smell plike plants (like if you take some leaf, snap it and smell it) , with bit citrus in but seems just me some on my family say it smell neutral.. different anyway from other product i have

What would be the best way/routine to use Cica paste, moisturising mask and night cream. I have very dry skin and these all work for me but I don’t know how to use them in a regular routine?

Our CICA Restore Skin Paste helps to soothe, calm and nourish your skin while you sleep. Suitable for all skin types however, this is perfect for those with dry skin, or those that suffer with any redness or sensitivity.
All our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, so our products can be used by those with even the most sensitive skin. However, as everyone's skin is so very different, what may be suitable for some, may not be suitable for others. Some people can react to the most gentle of ingredients, in the same way we can react to certain foods, so we always stress the importance of carrying out a patch test, when using any product for the first time.
This should be used in the evening, after you have cleansed and toned. If you have very dry skin, you can apply this after your regular moisturiser in the evening. We would suggest using a specific night cream on alternate evenings to the CICA Paste.

I bought this recently and it feels lovely on my skin, but I’m not sure how much to use. A thin layer absorbs straight into my skin just like a regular moisturiser and is not visible. Does it sound like I am applying the correct amount? Thanks!

From the description of how much you are using, it sounds as if you are using the correct amount. We would generally suggest applying a thin layer onto your face and leave on overnight. It’s not unusual for the CICA to Restore Skin Paste to absorb quickly into the skin, which is why this treatment mask is ideal for night-time use and not transferring onto your pillow as you sleep. Please be assured your skin is benefitting from all the restorative and nourishing properties as you sleep even with a small amount applied.

Would this help rosacea - I have the redness and pustular variety. I’m considering it, but am concerned it might be £32 wasted.

As our products are not intended for medical use we regret that we are unable to advise if it would be suitable as we do not know what ingredients your skin may be sensitive to. It may be worth checking with your GP for further advice.
Our CICA Restore Skin Paste has received some wonderful feedback from customers that suffer from rosacea. This product works overnight to visibly improve the appearance of imperfections by boosting the skins moisture barrier. It is also instantly calming and soothing and provides the skin with up to 48 hours of hydration. However, if you do decide to try this, we would suggest that you carry out a patch test first. A little should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before use. Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point during use - then you should immediately discontinue use and we would not recommend use of that particular product.
We also have a great 60 day returns policy, should you find any products unsuitable and need to return them to us.

Is this similar to the super skin over night mask. I can’t find the overnight mask so was wondering if it was discontinued and replaced with this?

We realised that Superskin Overnight Mask, when applied as a light layer does not require rinsing off in the morning and can be used as a night cream. A night cream is something we often hear from our customers that they would like introduced to our range - sooner rather than later. So for us it felt like a natural step to transition this into a hybrid product that can have a dual use, so when we changed the packaging of our Superskin range, we also changed the name of this product to Superskin Nourishing Night Cream which can be found on our website. You can still use as an overnight mask if you apply a thicker layer, and rinse off with your morning cleanse.

When it comes to pigmentation and scarring Rosehip oil has visibly regenerative properties. It’s the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. Clinical studies have proven its ability to soften scars, reduce 'age' pigmentation spots and patches and improve the appearance of fine surface lines. Superskin Concentrate for Night contains Rosehip oil and would be a great choice for the above concerns with prolonged use.
