COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.
JOJOBA BEADS
(Jojoba esters)
Prized for their gentle exfoliating action, jojoba beads leave skin clearer, brighter and more polished. To create our naturally biodegradable beads that are kind to the environment, pale yellow jojoba oil is hydrogenated to create a hard white wax, which is then warmed and dropped from a height to create smooth spheres.

Skin feels so smooth and soft.
My skin feels so soft and smooth after using this exfoliator. I use it a couple of times a week, along with my Liz Earle daily cleanse and polish routine. I'm finally treating my skin to products and a routine it loves! 10/10 from me.

I have rosacea and can’t use many other products. Even though this says not for sensitive skin it doesn’t cause any irritation and is really creamy.

Sensitive Skin & Eczema
I go against all the rules - i have both sensitive skin and eczema (on my face) - i find this exfoliator works best if i use it regularly - i.e. 4-5 days a week. It is gentle and removes all the dry, slightly crusty skin when i have a break out and keeps it healthy for as long as i remember to use it !

Gentle Exfoliator
A few years ago I was in the Liz Earle Guildford store with my friend who introduced me to Liz Earle. I was purchasing the Cleanse and Polish and Exfoliator when the sales lady told me she blended the Cleanse and Polish and Exfoliator together when cleansing. Well when I got home that's exactly what I did and it's exactly what I have been doing ever since. We all know how good the Cleanse and Polish is however the Exfoliator compliments it. I use both daily as part of my cleansing routine. The exfoliator is so gentle on the skin unlike some facial exfoliators which can be very abrasive. It is so gentle occasionally my 12 year daughter uses it. If you are looking for a gentle exfoliator that works, then look no further. This is the one for you.

What are the packaging tubes made of: plastic or aluminium?

Even those with dry skin can benefit from regular exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and flaky skin. However, we would advise caution if your skin is particularly sensitive, and as with all our products, we would recommend a patch test first.

Is this to be used on wet or dry skin
It says to use after the hot cloth & polish so is on wet or dry skin please

This is called Gentle face Exfoliator..why then does it state by the description that it’s not suitable for sensitive skin?

Unfortunately there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use.
