my skin allergic to it
I used the cleansing foam years ago and it's not good for me, somehow when I see the brand again this year, I was thinking to give it a second chance because of the good reviews, however it's the biggest mistake ever, my skin is allergic to this cream! And it's the first time my skin allergic to a cream! disappointed!

It’s ok but not as good as the day creams. Smells nice & soaks in easily but stings a little. It does the job but I am afraid to say I have purchased better, so won’t be buying again. A shame really because all other Liz Earle products I love.

My skin drinks this cream up!
I can’t wear day cream as my skin is very sensitive, and it just blocks my pores all day, and makes me scratch! The only time I can really wear moisturiser, is at nighttime. I’ve tried many many moisturisers, and this one is the one. I’ve been using for about six months now. My sensitive oily spot prone skin at forty six years of age, loves this cream. My skin drinks it up, and in the morning my skin and complexion are totally refreshed and hydrated. Beautiful pure lavender smell too.

Stung my skin, wouldn't buy again
I like the scent of this for night but unusually for Liz Earle products it stings when I put it on, it doesn't seem to cause any obvious redness but it takes the relaxing element out of it when the skin stings just before bed! I wouldn't purchase this again even though I love Liz earle products generally

Not good for me
I'm sad to say that the Skin Repair Night Cream did not agree with my skin. I have really sensitive skin and I use the Cleanse and Polish, skin tonic and the Skin Repair Rich Cream moisturiser which are all lovely for me. Unfortunately after using the Night Cream for two nights my skin became tight and irritated. I have spoken to the lovely Liz Earl Customer Services who are giving me a full refund. I just have to say that it did smell absolutely lovely.

Where do I begin? The scent is subtle but so beautiful. My skin looks visibly plumped. I wake up looking refreshed. I will never use anything else again. I’m so glad I discovered this product.

Instant soreness
I've used Liz Earle products for a while and thought I'd try this cream. Instantly my skin felt sore and hot and I had to remove the cream. There are a lot of reviews here and elsewhere telling you the same thing "Liz Earle" so why are you not looking into this? What is the irritant in this cream? How do I know you won't change the formula of other products and give me the same reaction. No more Liz Earle for me, I now have a pot of cream I can't use. It's unacceptable that this is still on the market.

Lovely night cream!
I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now. It’s a lovely light cream with a gorgeous smell. It absorbs easily into your skin and leaves it feeling soft and hydrated.
I’m starting to notice my skin is less dull and tired looking and feels moisturised without any greasy sensation.
Will keep using it and see if the improvement continues.

Disappointed
I bought this cream on the 26/1/24 I couldn’t wait to try it as the reviews seemed favourable , however after using it for a couple of weeks I have big sore spots all over my cheeks. I have used other liz Earle products with no problems but this cream doesn’t seem to suit my skin. I’m going to have to look for something less irritating.

I have a reaction to this cream, which makes my skin red and tingly. I don't typically have reactions to skin products; perhaps it's essential oils? The texture of this is good, creamy and thick without being heavy, and it absorbs well without sitting on your skin. The smell might not be for everyone, it has a strong rosemary scent. While in other respects it's what id look for in a night cream, the allergic reaction means I won't be buying again. This doesn't seem to have been mentioned by other people, but perhaps something to watch out for if you have sensitive skin.

I tried this first as a cheaper alternative to a much more expensive night cream. I already use other Liz Earle products but always stuck to a more expensive night product - so glad I tried this & it’s now my go to night time anti-aging cream - delivers on soooo many levels at a fraction of the cost of more expensive night creams. I bought this about a month ago and I find it is not as creamy to massage into my skin. It also feels a little dry. Will see how my skin is when I use more. No adverse problems at all. Still loving the creamy day cream. Used it for over 20yrs.

Can this be used in oily skin prone to breakouts

We'd suggest (as with all our products) that you carry out a patch test first. A little should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before using it.

I love the idea of this cream but I am 48 and noticing my skin looking older! Will this cream be effective enough for older skin or should I stick with super skin? Could I alternate? Xx
I just started using this cream and find it hydrating and not heavy. I am 55 but my skin cannot take heavy creams, so this appears to be ideal along with the hydrating serum. As long as your skin is hydrated, it will keep it supple. It has a subtle scent from the natural ingredients and is not overpowering. So far I am liking this cream, before I could only use lotions. Alternating creams can sometimes irritate the skin from past experience so I stick to one or the other. Hope this helps.

Will this help with sighs of aging? Fine line etc
I dont think it claims to as in it isn’t a night ‘treatment’ cream specifically for lines/wrinkles but it does really hydrate and nurture your face so it looks generally better and healthier in the morning. I am on my first pot and enjoying using it. Has a lovely soothing scent and sinks in easily . I am recovering from an accident and it feels like a little touch of extra care for my stressed skin.
