Made my skin sting
I received this awhile ago as a free gift and have just used it. Unfortunately immediately after applying it to my face, it made my skin sting. Washed it off with cleanse & polish which stopped the stinging thankfully. I can only think it must be the hyaluronic acid in the ingredients which obviously does not suit my skin. Not keen on scent either.
On a positive note I love the Vanilla and Clove body cream and cleanse & polish (purchased from boots) and the Rosemary & Rock Rose body cream. I hope you will stock these again.

Wonderful night cream
This is the best new product from Liz Earle since the body wash that matches her perfume no.15. It has a smooth, soothing texture and a lovely warm scent. It sinks into your skin without leaving any greasy residue and in the morning your skin is soft and nourished. Gorgeous!

Hydrating Night Cream has weird scent
Just bought my first moisturizng cream after loving the Liz Earle wash/polish system for years. Was not happy with the cream's scent. Sort of medicinal smelling. If I had bought it from a local store, I would have returned it.

Perfect
At first I was sceptical about the cream. Wasn’t sure. I have been using it for at least a month and I love it. It’s the perfect night cream for sensitive/combination skin. It smells like lavender which I love and it definitely makes your skin feel more plumed and hydrated.

Fabulous night moisturiser
I’ve been using a supermarket brand of regular moisturiser for years but noticed my skin changing with the onset of the menopause so decided to change my habit and I am very pleased that I did. The moisturiser is wonderful, not greasy, easily absorbed & smells wonderful. My skin feels hydrated & soft.

An OK cream
I was really hoping that I finally would find a hydrating moisturiser for my mature dry skin, this wasn't the one. Having stopped using Liz Earle for a year or so I decided to return and purchase both a day and night cream. This cream is alright, I haven't reacted to it which is a bonus but the smell is revolting and I like natural smelling products, how one reviewer said it had a beautiful fragrance I don't know, maybe mine is a dud pot? I haven't noticed a difference in my skin but its no worse. I won't buy it again.

Disappointed
I have been using the rich repair cream for a long time, and decided i would give the hydrating night cream a go. I really regret wasting my money as it leaves my skin feeling red and sore the following morning. I gave it a week and but have had to go back to my usual cream and will now have to buy another pot of this.

Dreadful reaction
Will be going back for a refund. After 2 days of using this, my skin felt as though it had sunburn. Red and irritated. When will Boots realise that people buy Liz Earle because it coped with or sorted out people with sensitive skin. They are trying to be like other brands, using hyaluronic acid etc. Stick to the original concept
guys! I have been using Liz Earle since 2008 and usually have skin which looks younger than my 61 years. This cream adds nothing to the range.

Feels nice but...
I really don't like the smell. I am a bit weird with strong smells which is why I love Liz Earle so much as most products don't have an odor but I won't be buying this again despite liking the results on my skin.

Can this be used in oily skin prone to breakouts

Our Skin Repair Hydrating Night Cream is scientifically proven to deliver an intensive moisture boost, so you awaken to skin that looks radiant, refreshed and rested. This has a lightweight texture and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.
We'd suggest (as with all our products) that you carry out a patch test first. A little should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before using it.

I love the idea of this cream but I am 48 and noticing my skin looking older! Will this cream be effective enough for older skin or should I stick with super skin? Could I alternate? Xx
I just started using this cream and find it hydrating and not heavy. I am 55 but my skin cannot take heavy creams, so this appears to be ideal along with the hydrating serum. As long as your skin is hydrated, it will keep it supple. It has a subtle scent from the natural ingredients and is not overpowering. So far I am liking this cream, before I could only use lotions. Alternating creams can sometimes irritate the skin from past experience so I stick to one or the other. Hope this helps.

Will this help with sighs of aging? Fine line etc
I dont think it claims to as in it isn’t a night ‘treatment’ cream specifically for lines/wrinkles but it does really hydrate and nurture your face so it looks generally better and healthier in the morning. I am on my first pot and enjoying using it. Has a lovely soothing scent and sinks in easily . I am recovering from an accident and it feels like a little touch of extra care for my stressed skin. Can I use my superskin face serum or superskin booster drops under this Night cream?
Well I am no dermatologist but I have used many different serums under different moisturisers with no problems, as LE is an ethical company I would have no problem In Using them
